Sandpaper resists wear—rubbed and pressed without pause. It wears down, it tears, yet it keeps smoothing, pushing back against the force that grinds it. Despite the pressure, it never loses its essence: even when reduced to fragments, it leaves a mark—a witness to the struggle against what wears it away.

Free Carta Abrasiva is a project that enacts a visual algospeak. The flag is made of various types of sandpaper, each with different colors and grains based on their intended use: classic reddish paper, white paper designed for plaster sanding, green aluminum oxide paper, black sandpaper specifically made for extremely hard materials.
